The Glass Artist Spotlight presents:
Mark Hufford
** Mark will be teaching here at Harmony again in January of 2017! **
Mark is originally from Perrysburg, Ohio, and has been a Texas transplant for over 30 years. He has been drawing since the age of 4 and his passion in art began with graphite drawing.  His passion is using graphite while exploring ever nuance and technique with pencil and paper. He enjoys teaching beginners in drawing how to observe and see things differently in life and chip away at the information our brains store in what we know versus what we actually see. He teaches that the mind many times just fills in the  blanks, missing a lot of important information due to the fast pace of life.

In addition to running a small family business, Mark teaches private drawing and art instruction to individuals with that hidden desire to be creative and learn. He teaches drawing in graphite, soft pastels, and scratchboard for the beginner to intermediate level.

He branched out into glass as a new medium for his painterly skills and currently also teaches fused glass workshops using Colors for Earth fired glass enamels. He has brought decades of fine art and graphic design experience creating fresh and dynamic art to the fused glass community. The application techniques he teaches are adapted from many of the art mediums in which he has experience. The focus of these techniques provides students with an increased awareness and ability to use their observation skills in the creation of realistic artworks.

You can come in to work on those UFOs (Un-Finished Objects).  It's a good place to grout those mosaic projects that won't finish themselves. (Drat!)

If you've completed beginning stained glass, you can work here for the low-low price of only $5 per hour.  After you pay for four hours, the rest of the day is FREE!

Harmony also offers Gift Certificates, Gift Registries and Custom Classes for small groups.  Birthday Parties, Friends' Night Out, Team-Building Events are all great experiences at Harmony Stained Glass!
