Do you have a student in college
struggling with English Composition?
If you have noticed that your child is feeling overwhelmed by English composition coursework, our tutors can help them at every step of the way. From Intro classes through Senior year, we can help with writing essays, term papers, theses, senior/final projects, and case studies.
All instruction is personalized and based on their specific needs. Tutors are experienced in working with students for whom English is not their first language, or who have additional learning needs. Tutors can meet them at home, on campus, or at a local library, and instruction can also be done online (or a combination of
in-person and online).
Our tutors can help with:
- Organizing large projects
- Brainstorming appropriate topics and outline supporting arguments
- Strengthening and developing thesis statements
- Managing research methods
- And strengthening editing and proofreading skills.
Our tutors are experienced in providing support to college students and imparting valuable skills that will make all college coursework more manageable and successful.

It's Time to Prep for the SAT and ACT Tests!
Plan for your child to take a standardized test at least twice to give them the best chance of a high score.
The next SAT will be May 6th and then June 3rd.
The next ACT will be April 8th and June 10th.
Our tutors have been fully trained in the new content
and test-taking strategies of both the SAT and ACT tests. We focus on time-management and customize our instruction to meet the needs of each student.
If you are not sure whether your child should take the SAT or ACT, please see the article below.
SAT vs. ACT: Choose Wisely
We often see students who feel more comfortable with one test over the other, so if you have the time to start early, we can create the best action plan for them moving forward this spring.
