City Kids Family Fair a Huge Success!
Over 1,300 attendees joined us for performances, arts activities and educational games, while learning about the many services Children's Council and our community partners provide local families. Thanks to everyone who attended, see you next year! 

Halloween Themed Playgroup! 
Tue, Oct 31, 10am-12pm: join us on Halloween for an extended Tuesday Playgroup. Wear your costumes, play games, sing songs and have snacks at our special holiday session. This is a great opportunity to celebrate Halloween in a safe environment! No need to register.

Cooking Matters!

Learn how to prepare fast, delicious and healthy meals on a budget. Cooking is a family activity, so school-age children are encouraged to attend with a parent or caregiver. Graduates of this six-part series will receive a free recipe book. 

Choosing a Preschool

It's never too soon to start thinking about preschool. In this workshop we address program philosophies, quality indicators and tips on navigating the application process. This is a free workshop. Registration preferred.

Our most popular workshop helps you evaluate family child care homes and infant/toddler centers. We also explore licensing regulations, legal rights and quality indicators. This is a free workshop. Registration preferred.

New & Expecting Moms Group

This group supports e xpecting moms and new moms through group discussion, interaction and activities. We'll build new relationships and support communication between you and your child. We always welcome newcomers!
