What's New this Year at First Night?
Many of your old favorites are returning this year but First Night Chatham is also offering many new performers to help celebrate the Silver Jubilee!  You'll be able to dance the night away with the  The  Four Tuxes Swing Band , rock to the sounds of  Another Tequila Sunrise (an Eagles Tribute Band), be amazed by  Malik Magic , and have a sweet time as you play a lifesize version of Candy Land at the Family Fun Center .  Don't miss The Cape Cod Sax Quartet, Freddie and the Romantics, George Gritzbach Band, The Halcyon Duo, Chev Hardy, Rock 'n' Roll Racing, Improvisational Live Storytelling, Tom Madden, Nancy & Dave - Jazz All-Stars, Sparrow Blue, and Billy Hardy & Beth Sweeney.  Click here to see more details about What's New this year at First Night!
Do you Remember?

During this year's First Night, watch for our special "Do You Remember" displays around town. We are looking for additional memorabilia and photos to use, especially:
  • from the early years of First Night
  • of the special costume display from 2004-2005 (First Night 2005)
  • of families having a great time at First Night in years past
  • and a copy of the town photo from 2008-2009 (First Night 2009)

Mural Update
First Night Chatham is currently working on updating the mural which hangs in the Chatham Community Center.  Look for the updated mural on First Night and see the history of the mural project on our website.

It "takes a village" to sustain the success First Night has enjoyed in Chatham for 25 years, when many others around the country have gone silent. We are very pleased that this success is founded on the support First Night receives from so many businesses in Chatham, churches and civic organizations, the Town and schools in use of facilities and the overall community. Can You Help?
First Night Chatham depends on the participation of volunteers - they make the celebration possible. Last year, more than 250 volunteers helped the day run smoothly at 20 venues that hosted over 90 performances and activities.
