Travel Quote of the Week:
"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page." -
Travel Tip of the Week: Traveling with a toddler? If your toddler normally sleeps with a bed rail to keep them safe from rolling out of bed, bring along a pool noodle for your travels. In hotel beds, put the noodle underneath the fitted sheet on the edge of the bed for extra safety.

Greetings!
We hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather and had a great Father's Day! Summer is really shaping up quite quickly.
On June 7, I attended the business expo on behalf of the Holiday Inn Express, Titus Mountain, and Mo's Pub & Grill. I want to thank everyone who stopped by the booth who were already fans of us, as well as our new fans that we just met!
Lastly, with summer almost in full swing (a few more graduations left), don't forget about us when you are planning your vacation--whether it is two days or a week! With golf, the fair, art galleries, spa treatments, the casino, fishing and kayaking, there is certain to be something worth vacationing for. Get in touch with us and we'll set you up!
And save the date for this year's Oktoberfest at Titus Mountain: Saturday, October 6, 2012!
Sincerely, Brittany Taylor Eat, Sleep, Play. - Malone |

Summer in Malone
While we are blessed to have a world class Golf Club here in Malone... here are some other things to do while you are visiting Malone! Fishing The Salmon River is one of the North Country's most productive streams. Check the public fishing rights map here. This year the DEC has already stocked the river three times with Brown Trout. With deep pools and plenty of pocket water, the Salmon River is great for all anglers. Kayaking/Canoeing With the Salmon River, Lake Titus, Deer River and Chateauguay Lake, you can find somewhere to put a boat in. Don't worry about lugging your boat here, either-- Fredericks has canoe and kayak rental for the day or weekend! If you want to check out the public boat launches, check here. Hiking Take a leisurely stroll at the Malone Rec Park through fields and forests with the family, or hike trails from easy to hard through the Adirondack Park. Hiking Trails Map here. Art Galleries Spend some time developing artistic awareness at the Foothills ART Society, Forartsake, and Pouring Light Studios. Take classes, attend events, and participate in special programs. Of course, you can always look at what others have done too! Almanzo Wilder Farm Get a little piece of history! This historic house is the only ORIGINAL house on its original site of all those written about in the Little House book series. It is the only site dedicated to and original to Almanzo Wilder. It is an important piece of northern New York history. View their website.

Titus Updates
But don't forget us in the winter, either!
Is anybody getting antsy yet for the 2012-2013 ski season? We are! With a no holds barred attitude, the owners are giving it their all to make Titus the place to be this season! Of course, we hope you have heard that we are expanding our trail systems to 42 for the coming season-- that is 50% more trails and glades to ski on! There is going to be an expanded Terrain Park, newly remodeled lodges, and great events too! As always, we will have excellent grooming, marvelous staff, fun racing, and a great atmosphere!

And here is a final Congratulations to all graduates!
