Study Says College Success More Likely with Dual Credit  

A recent study by ACT confirms that students taking dual credit coursework in high school are more likely to succeed in college than those who do not participate in such opportunities. Stark County student participation in dual credit increased by 18% in 2013-14.

Post Secondary Options Afford
Stark Students Various Levels of Sizable Savings
     

For the 2013-2014 year, Stark County's portfolio of Post Secondary Options offer a substantial opportunity for students and families to earn or bank college credit at no cost for tuition or books.[1]   

 

Stark's potential total savings are significant - ranging from $340K for college  courses taken on campus at 2-year public colleges/universities to more than $10.5M for Advanced Placement courses at 4-year private colleges/universities.
