New Ohio Typology Highlights the Diversity of Stark County's School   Districts  2013 Ohio School District Typography

Since 1996, the Ohio Department of Education has drawn upon its own records and data from the U.S. Census and Ohio Department of Taxation to create typologies of the state's public school districts based on shared geographic and demographic characteristics.

While such typologies are meant to assist researchers, they can also give the public an overview of how school districts within a county or region often serve highly diverse populations.
