Celebrating the Impact of Partnerships

In 1989 the founders of the Stark Education Partnership believed that when we collaborate to  DREAM, DESIGN, DRIVE, ALIGN and LEVERAGE resources, the impact would be systemic change, enhanced resources and
improved student outcomes.

On Wednesday, November 30, SEP hosted an appreciation breakfast to celebrate the positive impact collaboration has had on education outcomes in our schools.

TOGETHER  WE HAVE:
  • Removed the barriers to increase college access and readiness. Stark has the second highest College Credit Plus participation) rate in Ohio.
  • Supported schools and school districts in their work to improve high school graduation, college-going and degree attainment rates. See Stark County's Significant Educational Progress (December 2016) for more details.
  • Secured, brokered, or collaborated in raising nearly $85 million in federal, state and local funds to build capacity.
TOGETHER WE WILL leverage resources to ensure a more hopeful future for our children and our community.
