Stark's Career Technical Report Cards Paint a Picture of High Performing Programs
The 2014-15 Ohio School
Report Cards for Stark County's Career Technical Planning Districts (CTPD) were released late in February. The picture is one of high performing programs graduating nearly all students on time. Further, nearly all students participate in dual enrollment, either earning college credit while in high school or upon enrolling in college.
Nearly all of Stark's six CTPDs - which provide career technical programs (formerly vocational education) for every local school district - met each of the eight critical federal Perkins Accountability Standards. Those standards are: 1) a
cademic attainment reading; 2) a
cademic attainment math; 3) t
echnical skill attainment; 4) s
econdary school completion; 5) s
ingle year graduation rate; 6) p
ost program placement; 7) n
ontraditional participation; and 8) n
ontraditional completion.
