Stark State Remains Among the Fastest Growing Community Colleges in the United States

A new analysis by  Community College Weekly shows overall enrollment declining at the nation's two year colleges as the economy improves.[1] While this downward trend[2] has impacted many institutions, Stark State College (SSC) remains among the fastest growing in the nation.

SSC is ranked 43rd in Community College Weekly's listing of the top 50 fastest growing community colleges with enrollments of 10,000 or more. Equally impressive is degree production. SSC ranks 31st in the nation among institutions of all sizes for awarding Associate Degrees in Computer and Information Sciences and 14th for Engineering Technologies and Engineering-Related Fields.
