Stark's College Payoff The College Payoff

The release of the report comes as some experts are asking if the rising cost of college has created a higher education bubble.
- The College Payoff

A new publication by Georgetown University's Center on Education and the Workforce and the Lumina Foundation confirms that a college degree is critical for economic opportunity.

Looking at national figures, The College Payoff: Education, Occupations, Lifetime Earnings[1] found that education still adds significantly to an individual's earning power. Does the same hold true for Stark County?

Using the same methodology in examining U.S. Census figures[2] as The College Payoff, median lifetime earnings in 2009 dollars for Stark Countians by level of education are as follows.
