Three in Stark GI_MagazineTagged among Top "Military Friendly" Schools in the  Nation

It's that time of year when national magazines, such as U.S. News and World Report, publish their rankings of the nation's best colleges and universities. While Stark County institutions generally do well, a very singular recognition came to Stark State College, Malone and Walsh Universities this week.

GI Jobs Magazine[1], in its 2013 listing, has named all three among the top 15% of schools in the nation for military and returning veterans.

Military Friendly Schools[2] maximize benefits to help both serving military and returning veterans earn degrees. GI Jobs Magazine judges schools on multiple measures, including financial support, programs and policies.
