Lakeside Documentary wins VAB Award for Best Documentary

We're so very proud that Blue Ridge PBS was presented with a prestigious Virginia Association of Broadcasters Award this past weekend for "Lakeside: 66 Years of Fun in the Sun". The program took top VAB honors for best Documentary/Public Affairs Program, making it truly one of the best new documentary programs in the commonwealth.
From 1920-1986, Lakeside was the vacation destination of choice for many families in the Southeast. Join us as we take a sentimental ride through the ups and downs of this beloved icon of the valley including the opportunity to own a piece of The Shooting Star rollercoaster.
