SGMP Sacramento Chapter

It truly IS award season!

Sacramento Chapter wins THREE awards in Ft. Lauderdale!

It is so exciting to share the Sacramento Chapter brought home three awards from the National Education Conference.  Kudos to Robin Pollock and Crystal Spencer, co-chairs of the Education Committee, for
bringing it this past year with their committee's stellar programs.

Along with Robin and Crystal, 25 of us enjoyed receiving the 2nd place award for best program.  The "ABC-101" program (where we learned about the rules and regulation surrounding the use of alcohol at our meetings and events), was the program chosen for award consideration. As Robin pointed out on her Facebook page, there are not many that remember who won first place after all the whooping and hollering we all did on stage! Sacramento was definitely IN THE HOUSE!  We had also submitted the same program for the "Innovation" award because that was the program we started providing Facebook Live presentations for our remote members.  We were rewarded for that effort and won SGMP's first
Innovation award.

The third award was a complete surprise as national President Michelle Milligan honored Kit Gonzales with one of two national President's award.  Kit's trophy says that her involvement has made an impact to the organization.
Kit says the same thing back, SGMP has made a positive impact on her and her life.

We are proud to bring these three awards back to Sacramento.  Anyone who attended NEC and has photos to share, please forward them to  They will be on a slide show for our July chapter meeting.
