It's Employee Appreciation Week at Central Office!

Every day, you come to work and give your best. We appreciate you and everything you contribute to the success of our students, families and fellow SCS colleagues. So this week, our HR team wants to celebrate you with fun themed days and a few small tokens of appreciation. This is not just a BOE thing, either. No matter what admin building you work at, this is for you. So, please take part in the fun, and urge your co-workers to do the same!
Wednesday is Grizzlies Day!

The Grizzlies tip off their 2016-17 season Wednesday, so we're kicking off our employee appreciation week fun at the same time. Leave the business attire at home, and enjoy this opportunity to dress down. Wear your favorite Griz shirts, jerseys or other gear to work to show your support for the hometown team. Even if you're not a Griz fan, just do it anyway. You'll be comfy!

Rep your school on Thursday!

Yep... it's another chance to dress casual. Whether you went there, worked there or have a child who goes there, allegiance to your school is a big deal! Show your support for your favorite elementary, middle or high school or college/university. If you're having a hard time choosing one, bring 'em all to entertain your co-workers with wardrobe changes all day... OR, just wear SCS colors or your favorite SCS shirt to rep the District.

Friday is Hallow-grin! You bring the costume, and lunch is on us!

It's fall, so let's get festive. Friday is "Hallow-grin," so meet us in the BOE courtyard 11:30 a.m. -  2 p.m. for burgers (beef & turkey), hot dogs, chips, brownies and beverages. Plus, we'll have music from 88.5FM.

Costume Contest! Get in the fall spirit. We've got awards for the best costumes!

Send us your photos! The best pics of the week will be featured in the Teacher Weekly or shared on social media. We prefer that you tag us on Facebook or Twitter, but you can also email to newsroom @scsk12.org.
