Local Artists Help Raise Funds for Youth Education
at Behringer-Crawford’s 26 th Annual fresh ART
Several hundred art lovers enjoyed a balmy evening dining on fresh fare and bidding on fresh art in Devou Park on September 16 at the 26th annual fresh ART program presented by Behringer-Crawford Museum.

The event was the capstone of a weekend which saw 32 local artists working en plein air in the park, creating artwork which was auctioned “fresh” at the event.

Previously completed works by more than 30 other artists were sold at a silent auction, with proceeds from both auctions benefiting local youth through the museum’s education programs.

Judges Karen and Robert Hebenstreit and Crews McCullough selected three of the artists for the Patricia and William Applegarth Artists Excellence Awards. Winners were Tom Bluemlein, Ft. Mitchell, first place; Mary Beth Dowlin, Cincinnati, second; and Guy McIntosh, Bellevue, third.
