It's Lavender Time in Sequim!

And what a time it is!  July is almost upon us and the scent of lavender is beginning to fill the air in Sequim.  We're starting to see the halo of purple on the rounded mounds of the plants that adorn the City and the lavender farms in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley.  In the coming weeks, the earliest varieties will be in full bloom. Plan your visit to Sequim and take in the breathtaking scene!

Abundant Lavender Fields
Sequim Lavender Weekend - July 21 - 23
Each summer visitors come from all over the world for the largest lavender celebration in the country.  Farm tours, a world-class street fair, a host of community events, and evening dances and concerts, make this a bucket list experience.   Sequim Lavender Weekend

Families enjoy the farms on tour.

The Lavender Festival Street Fair in downtown Sequim is a popular event for visitors. The fair hosts the work of artisans from around the country along with plenty of booths filled with lavender products from Sequim area farms and businesses.  Live music and good food and drink will be on-hand all weekend.

The Street Fair is officially opened.

This year there are 16 farms and one commercial nursery open during Lavender Weekend for our guests to enjoy.  Each farm has its own unique character and reflects the interests of the farms' owners.  The farms offer a variety of things to do while you visit.  Many have learning opportunities, crafts, music, and food.  Note* Some farms charge admission during the weekend.  Be sure to view the Official Event Map for details.

There is nothing like picking your own bouquet of fresh lavender.

Can't make it during Lavender Weekend?
No worries!  Most of the farms are open throughout the summer and they love visitors. You might catch the lavender harvest, the owners distilling lavender essential oil, or just take in the tranquil beauty of the fragrant, purple fields.  Any time is a great time to visit!

Take in the beauty of Sequim Lavender Farms throughout the summer.

We look forward to seeing you in Sunny Sequim this Summer!
