We have big plans to gather in the semi-private Compass Lounge high atop the Hyatt Hotel in Phoenix. Plan to be part of this invitation-only introduction to the Valley of the Sun with our members and special friends.

Given that most of our members are in the Honolulu area about 200 miles and four islands away from the volcano, the biggest issue seems to be excessive VOG (volcanic smog). Our one member in the vicinity of Kilauea is HPM Building Supply. Our active HPM member, Darlene, tells us that her family and friends are okay and mostly dealing with earthquakes - not lava. They appreciate the concern from NACM BCS members

HPM is donating masks and the use of their trucks for those in need. Way to go HPM!

Bottomline: Unless you're within a few miles of the volcano, Hawaii is still a great place to visit and do business.

During the last fiscal year (April 1, 2017 - March 31, 2018), a contest was held to encourage participation and data contribution in our Industry Groups program.

At year end, four companies had 100% participation. That means their representatives attended meetings every month, submitted names for discussion, and contributed their A/R data.
