We like them paired with
Taupetastic Jersey

This slubbed knit has a soft texture and a slight sheen adding just enough contrast to make this piece elegant and evening worthy while still working well in a daytime wardrobe.

This busy knit is subdued in coloration making it the perfect combination for a sophisticated top or dress.  Taupe with a slightly pinked hue combines with sea blue navy, cool beige, pale gray and soft white.  Highlights of chocolate brown add contrast and harmony.

Jan 11

I've finished my plaid button-down. I was planning to add chest pockets cut on the bias, but I think it was a bit busy in addition to the bias button band and floral contrast pieces.

I'm really happy with how this turned out. I can wear it alone or under a sweater, and the collar stands up nicely without being too stiff.

On to the next!

I started on my final top today. It is based on a cute blouse I saw at Anthropologie with a pleated section on the high bodice.
