Spetember 2016

Happy Birthday to The Spicy Olive! It's hard to believe but 4 years ago on September 8, 2012 The Spicy Olive in West Chester opened up for business! Thanks to our great customers loving our high quality olive oils and balsamic vinegars, there are now 3 Spicy Olives in the area! Our Hyde Park store marked 3 years in July and our Austin Landing store marked it's one year anniversary in July as well! We are going to celebrate these milestones on Saturday September 17, 2016 at all 3 stores with food samples, chef demos, sampling of our new skin care products and 10%off our olive oils and balsamic vinegars! I hope you will come out and wish The Spicy Olive Happy Anniversary!

Our fresh Southern Hemisphere olive oils continue to arrive at all 3 Spicy Olive's.  We received  3 mild olive oils, an Arbosano and Arbequina from Chile and a Pendolino from Australia in August. Our robust olive oils from The Southern Hemisphere will arrive the first or second week of September, which includes a robust Don Carlo from South Africa with a polyphenol count of around 600!  Don't forget, at The Spicy Olive you can taste the difference fresh makes!

Lastly, I wish to clarify our bottle refilling policy. It is not a bottle recycling program but a discount to you for refilling your bottle. We ask that you completely wash and dry the bottle before refilling. Running it through the dishwasher and allowing it to dry completely on the counter for a few days usually does the trick. This is for your protection, as mold can develop in a bottle that has moisture present. We reserve the right to refuse refilling a dirty bottle or a bottle that is not completely dry. We offer $1 off for bottle refilling. The Health Departments in Butler County and Montgomery County have approved this policy, however the Hamilton County Health Department has not. Therefore, we are unable to refill bottles at the Hyde Park store.

The Spicy Olive, all 3 locations, will be closed on Monday September 5, 2016 to celebrate Labor Day with our families.  Enjoy the holiday weekend!

The Spicy Olive will be at The CIncinnati Food and Wine Classic! Sept.23-25, 2016  At Yeatman's Cove. We will be sampling and selling our products in the Artisans Marketplace. Stop by and see us at this Foodies' paradise of a festival!

Our skincare line contains the same fresh, polyphenol and antioxidant rich olive oil that we sell at the stores, delivering all that goodness to your skin and hair!  Come in and try them, you will love what they do to your skin! Antioxidant rich, wrinkle fighting Face serum is now available!
Our skincare products will be available for you to sample at our Anniversary celebration on September 17, 2016. Once you try them you'll love them and so will your skin!
