After 9 Seasons and 175,000 Guests,
Albany Aqua Ducks to Fly Away |
The Aqua Ducks' amphibious vehicles have been sold to an out-of-state firm that wishes to remain anonymous. So, the large, lumbering Ducks, seen frequently throughout Albany, will be flying away to another city on July 16. We are in negotiations at present to sell the Albany Trolleys. All charters will be honored on the Trolleys. And, tour customers and those who have chartered a Duck will be contacted about various options.
Why sell?
It's simply time. The owners of the company long ago retired from their first careers. Now it's time to REALLY retire.
We have had a great time serving as Albany's unofficial ambassadors. More than 175,000 people enjoyed the tour. And they came from everywhere -- except Antarctica! WOW!
Next?
We'll be running charters and historic tours daily through July 15. You can check out our schedule here.
We hope we Quacked you up over these 9 seasons.
And, we wish everyone nothing but Ducky Days ahead!
