Calling all Softball Players!

It's time to pull those bats and mitts from storage and get them ready for summer softball!
For those of you who may not know, St. Thomas More sponsors 5 softball teams (4 men's and 1 ladies),  and we play games on Wednesday evenings from mid April to early August.

These teams have been around for a long time, as have many of the participants, so we are looking for fresh players!  If you are interested in meeting some amiable community members and getting exercise to boot, please contact  Chad McCauley (chade.mccauley@gmail.com) for the Men's team or Carol Ney (neyjc@comcast.net) for the Women's team. We can answer questions and distribute information.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Summer Skills Workbooks

Summer is right around the corner, so it's time to start ordering Summer Skills Workbooks for your children!  The workbooks are available for each grade level in the subjects of Language Arts and Math.  These workbooks are intended to help maintain skills over the summer months.  In most instances, you should order books for the current grade level of your child. The lessons are short and correlate well with our curriculum.  Additional workbooks for Preschool, Spanish, and Keyboarding are also available.  Samples of the workbooks and order forms are now available in the hallway near the office for you to review.

You may order all your children's workbooks on one order form.  Please send the form to school with the child who will be responsible to bring the books home in May.  That child must give the order form and your check (made out to St. Thomas More) to his or her classroom teacher.  If you place your order by May 4th, the price is $19 per book.  If you miss the May 4th deadline, a form can be provided to order your workbooks directly from the company, but you will need to pay an additional shipping fee.

If you have questions not answered on the order form, contact Carol Kimlinger, Educational Resources Teacher, at 651-224-4836, Ext. 341 or ckimlinger@morecommunity.org
