Originating from all 99 counties in Iowa, all 50 states, and 121 countries, Cyclones make up the largest alumni body in the state.
Iowa State University has more than 100,000 alumni living in Iowa, and with graduation this weekend, that number is only going up.
On Saturday, Iowa State will graduate an anticipated 5,093 students -- an increase of 505 graduates over last spring's record-breaking class.
Iowa State students continue to be the pipeline for companies. While many employers aim to hire one Iowa Stater, some hire more than 50 Iowa State students and alumni each year. The demand for Cyclones remains strong given 95% of graduates continuously achieve a positive career outcome within six months of graduation. Of those graduates who entered the workforce, 64% of Iowa resident graduates remained in Iowa to begin their careers.
Iowa State University is proud to serve the needs of students and provide a great place to pursue a degree for the future generations of Iowans.
Did you know?
