2013 Roberson Regional Art Exhibition
|
Roberson Museum and Science Center will present a tremendous showcase of regional artists with the Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony for our 2013 Roberson Regional Art Exhibition Sunday, July 14 from 3-5pm. The announcement of awards will take place at 4pm.
Over 70 pieces will be featured in the exhibition, representing approximately 50 regional artists. Exhibition categories include ceramic, photography, painting, sculpture and more.
Artists within 150 miles of Binghamton are represented in the Regional Art Exhibition - a show that was juried by John Brunelli, Director of Anthony Brunelli Fine Arts in Binghamton. First, second and third place awards have been selected from the works and will receive plaque and cash awards.
General admission for the Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony for the 2013 Roberson Regional Art Exhibition is discounted to $5. Admission is free for Roberson members.
Works in the Regional Art Exhibition will be on display at Roberson through October 27.

We're thrilled to announce the following list of remaining summer camps being offered during summer 2013 at Roberson Museum and Science Center. Registration is required for camp participation.
Please visit www.roberson.org or call (607) 772-0660 to register. Please note that camps require a minimum number of participants, and are subject to change. Tuition is non-refundable.
All materials included. Tuition is $172 for members, $215 for non-members.

Two Rivers Fine Arts and Crafts Festival

RoberCon: SciFi Convention

We're hosting Binghamton's first ever SciFi convention. We're working on vendors, fan groups and gaming opportunities to make this a fun pop-culture event. Perfect for all ages, interests and imaginations.

New Exhibition: The Legacy of Link

Roberson proudly presents a new exhibition featuring Edwin A. Link. "Vision and Innovation: The Legacy of Edwin A. Link" includes examples of his amazing advancements as a pioneer in aviation, underwater archaeology and submersibles. The exhibit includes the amazing Link Organ, a Link Trainer and artifacts from an archaeology excursion in Port Royal, Jamaica.

No matter the weather or time of year, there's always an incredible view of the stars and planets from inside our new Digital Planetarium.
From astronomy topics to monsters of the deep sea and rockin' laser shows, the new digital software provides fun, reliable and flexible educational programs for school audiences, afterschool programs, summer camps and significantly enhances the visitor experience.
