Hello Junkies,
Well, it's been a month since my last newsletter and we've been playing so many festivals, it's crazy. Festival season is in full swing here in the south, before it gets too hot.
We had a great time and a great crowd at Jazz Fest.
On April 18th, we played in Memphis at the Hornets vs Grizzlies game at the Fed Ex Forum for the Louisiana Tourism Department. Our Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne joined us on stage. What a great time...
Musically, I'm thinking a lot about another CD. I've had a couple of ideas and would like your input. My first notion is to do an unplugged CD of my daddy's music. My second is doing the normal "Chubbyfied" CD, collaborating with Ellis Hall. If you don't know the name Ellis Hall, it won't be one you soon forget. He is an amazing talent and individual. He was the only person signed to Ray Charles record label and he used to be the lead singer of Tower of Power. Check him out here
