A word from our participants........

It's challenging and I am already learning so much, just from simple exercises. It is teaching me perspective and quick thinking. (Word on the Street participant)

The School of Hard Knocks gives me a new purpose. I enjoy singing and the art forms provided and also get to know many beautiful people. (participant across 3 programs)

Creative Writing is great, often a laugh to be had, great company, great teacher. The text reminder the day before is much appreciated. I have learnt a lot at this class. (Word on the Street participant)

To me, my School of Hard Knocks family is so real and helps me to feel included and loved. There's three words I can say to describe the School: unique, loving, magical. (Choir participant)

When Fridays are here again, I can breathe and have a break from this world. Sometimes a break from the pain can get you further down the track. Time to focus on something different, and enjoy a world of music, lovely people and learn new things that challenge me. We can sit around a table and enjoy a meal and conversation with friends and there's no judgement. Such power in the positive energy. (choir participant)
