We are pleased to invite you to join the Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta for the 6th annual Motion Specialties & Eco Medical 2012 Life Without Limits Challenge! Help us continue to create a Life Without Limits for individuals with disabilities.
This annual event provides the opportunity for members, family, friends and coworkers to come together for a day of fun, exercise and a little friendly competition all the while helping to raise funds for the Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta. With local celebrities, entertainment and delicious food on hand, this is an event geared for people of all ages and abilities-where the goal is not to be the first to cross the finish line, but to participate in your own way and have a great time!
The 2012 Motion Specialties & Eco Medical Life Without Limits Challenge is being held in Calgary on Saturday, September 15 at Fish Creek Park in the Glennfield Area and in Edmonton on Sunday, September 16 in Rundle Park. Registration is only $40 for participants 18 years and older and $25 for participants 17 and under as well as seniors (60+). Registration includes a reusable water bottle, long sleeved race shirt, as well as lunch, snacks, entertainment, prizes and more at the event.
This annual fundraising event allows participants to walk, run or "wheel" their way to the finish line. Register as an individual or start a team of family, friends and coworkers! We encourage everyone to engage in a little friendly competition to see who can raise the most funds! By registering online at www.lifewithoutlimits.ca, you can create your own personalized fundraising page where you can not only email friends and family to encourage their support, but you can track and update your own fundraising progress, post pictures of you and your team and send messages to other participants. Fabulous prizes will be given out to participants who reach the $500, $1000 and $2000 fundraising levels. Additional prizes will be given out for best costume, most pledges raised, and much, much more! Draw tickets will also be awarded. Ways to get draw tickets include:
- The more money you raise, the more tickets you receive
- For each garbage bag of used clothing brought to donate
- For each garbage bag of beverage containers brought to be recycled
