Great reading at the Piccabeen Bookshop

Our little shop is bursting at the seams with a range of good
books, and there is always new stock to choose from. The
funds generated by this shop
are crucial in supporting our
work financially. Our volunteer staff are very friendly: do drop
in to say hello and buy a book
or two.

What's ahead for TM Landcare in 2017

This year our contractors and teams of volunteers will concentrate on maintaining the rainforest sites that make up our established Corridors Regeneration Project.

If you haven't already toured our sites - or if it's been a long time since you checked them out - do pay them a visit. Good access tracks wind through many of our sites, making it a pleasure to walk through and see the results of our restoration work at:
  • Manitzky Park
  • John Dickson Conservation Park (with all its species now named)
  • Ohia Court
  • The Contour Rd sites (Tamborine Heights Park, Kinabalu Prospect and Areca Gully)
  • Youngman Family Park
  • Millet Park (at the end of Carey Parade)
  • The Landcare Centre, Hartley Road (with flat grounds for ease of access, and labelled native trees and shrubs on display)
  • Rosser Park
  • Botanic Gardens (with rainforests making a unique backdrop round the edges)
To locate the sites, see the map on our website: http://www.tamborinemtnlandcare.org.au/
Click on each of the balloons to bring up information about that site.

TM Landcare volunteers and our contractor will be rehabilitating this very visible road reserve directly opposite the National Park along the road many visitors travel on their way to Gallery Walk. Watch the transformation over the next few months!
