Understanding the process of responding to a Request for Proposal (RFP) can seem impossible at times.  But thanks to Gayle Nuppnau, Jennifer Habowski and Margaret Mary Juran, procurement consultants with the PA Department of General Services, for simplifying the process.

Tuesday, the JARI PTAC welcomed the consultants to a three hour seminar sponsored by Wessel & Company, where each shared specific expertise on how to identify and respond to state government contract opportunities.

Attendees learned key strategies to ensure their bid moves past the initial scoring process and into the negotiation phase, such as 

pre-RFP research, writing an effective proposal and reviewing for accuracy.
