JARI hosted a Shale Opportunities Panel on Friday, May 1 at the Holiday Inn, Johnstown. Over 50 attendees heard updates and participated in a Q&A panel with Zach Smith and Chad Guthrie, CONSOL Energy; Bruce McKay, Dominion; and Joe McGinn, Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. Jim Welty, Marcellus Shale Coalition, moderated the event.

Immediately following the discussion, one local supply chain representative in attendance commented that this was what his company needed to proceed with midstream work in the gas industry.

Cambria County Job Fair...Optimism for Job Success

The Cambria County Job Fair was a resounding success! There were 400 job seekers in attendance and 65 employers who had 500 job openings. Based on our employer and job seeker surveys, employers commented that the job fair was
well-organized and the quality of the job seekers was outstanding.

Job seekers were pleased with the amount of employers present.
