Paperwork Help

 

A woman in SE has an immediate need for a volunteer with organizational expertise to help her with understanding and filling out paperwork for housing and medical expenses.  

 

 
Papers and Books 


 

A retired gentleman in NE Portland is seeking help organizing paperwork and going through his collection of books to donate some. A good fit would be someone who can set project boundaries as well as lend a listening ear. 

 

 
Furniture Moving


An elderly couple in Tigard seek strong volunteers to assist them in moving large furniture items to their new home. Preferably available to move small amounts at a time and able to start soon. 

 

Be a Friendly Visitor

 

A 89 year old recently widowed Jewish man is searching for a dedicated

female volunteer to visit
twice a week. He enjoys spending his time being social, cooking healthy meals, and exploring his curiousity about the world.

 

 

A Jewish senior in SW Portland is seeking a friendly visitor (with possible transportation). His family is seeking a positive companion for him. He is a brilliant gentleman who enjoys telling stories. He also enjoys going to a donut shop nearby and may enjoy going for a drive /sight seeing.

Community Seder at Beth Israel

Volunteers are needed to help drive clients to and from the event on April 17th starting at 5:15pm.

 

When client RSVP's come in, we will match you up!

 

 

A female in Beaverton is looking for a ride from the JFCS office on March 26th to pick up her new scooter and get it home.

 

 

A gentleman with a life threatening medical condition is searching for driving help as he explores his spirituality. He seeks transportation to and from Beth Israel for weekly services. 

 

A cheerful Jewish senior in Beaverton is searching for a weekly ride to assist with grocery shopping. He is without a car and has limited mobility.
