International Commission on the Apostolate of Jesuit Education Meets in Rome
The International Commission on the Apostolate of Jesuit Education (ICAJE) met in Rome at the Jesuit Curia from May 24 to May 27. Highlights included regional reports, planning for JesEdu-Rio2017, and a two-hour session with Fr. General Arturo Sosa. USA Northeast Province Announces New Provincial Assistant for Pre-Secondary and Secondary Education
As part of the continuing progress toward coming together as one Jesuit Province on the East Coast in 2020, the USA Northeast Province is happy to announce that the apostolic sector of Pre-Secondary and Secondary Education for both the Maryland and the Northeast Provinces will be unified under the leadership of Fr. Joe Parkes, SJ.

Regis High School Alum Saves a Life in London Attack
Mark Kindschuh, who graduated from Regis High School in New York, NY two years ago, was in London's Borough Market on Saturday, June 3. When terrorists stormed in, Kindschuh stayed to save a victim's life.

Loyola High School in Detroit Celebrates College Signing Day!
On May 1, Loyola High School in Detroit, MI celebrated its second annual college "Signing Day," where all 31 graduating seniors announced the college they will attend this fall.

Regis High School and Northeast Province to Host Colloquium on Race, Class, and Access in Jesuit Middle School Education
As Regis High School in New York, NY celebrates the 15th anniversary of the REACH Program, they will, in conjunction with the USA Northeast Province, organize and sponsor a gathering of educators and administrators to explore the many questions about the role of middle school education in the broader world of Jesuit Secondary Education to take place in March of 2018.
