Sara McDonough Joins JTAA Executive Board After Over A Decade of Service
Sara has volunteered for JTAA in many capacities since her family's move to Florida in 2004. The McDonough’s came from New York seeking a more active lifestyle for their two children and better weather. Upon arrival, Sara signed her boys up for JTAA soccer. Recognizing the importance of great communication during a volatile weather season, Sara volunteered as Team Mom. This was the beginning of over a decade of service to JTAA, including time served on the JTAA Baseball Board and as League Director and Assistant Commissioner for Basketball. Sara has advocated for fair draft and registration practices, as well as effectively reduced sport budgets by eliminating unnecessary expenditures. Sara will serve on the board as the liaison to basketball. Sara looks forward to expanding her reach beyond the sports played by her children, and sharing her experience and expertise with the entire JTAA.
