about how you can go
plastic free this month!

Take the challenge! Plastic Free July aims to challenge and empower people to reduce their use of disposable plastics. Try conducting a waste audit to determine what you can reduce, or follow these suggestions!

  1. Eliminate plastic water bottles by drinking tap water and using reusable bottles.
  2. Use reusable totes and produce bags for your shopping.
  3. Save a straw and say "No thank you."
  4. Take a plastic-free coffee break.
  5. Being waste free is more of a journey than a destination. Learn how to expand your plastic free goals.

FIREWORK SAFETY
With the 4 th of July just a few days away, the fireworks have begun to pop around town. Our Boca Raton Police Services reminds you that while fireworks are legal to purchase in Florida, they are illegal to set off in the City of Boca Raton. As explained in this video, fireworks are dangerous.

Be safe this July 4th!
