June Meeting Re-cap

It was a great night out!  The weather was great!  There was some very good side dishes brought by our members and Chris did a great job on BBQ of hamburgers & hot dogs!

But the highlight of our night was the eBike presentation by Victory Velo Bike Shop!  A couple bikes were there for us to test ride and a few members jumped to the chance!  What almost each rider said as they got on and began to move, was "Wow, I don't really need to do anything to get it to go!" and "Riding back up the hill was a breeze!"

It was a nice night!  Thank you Victory Velo Bike Shop!

August Meeting

Mark your calendar!  If you have ever wondered what service, exactly, does the Air Ambulance provide.  Or perhaps you have wondered how to become a member?  Or you might keep saying that you really need to become a member of CALSTAR or REACH, because, well, we find ourselves out on trails that may only be able to reach us via Air Ambulance.

Well join us for our August General meeting where our guest speaker will be Sonja Conklin of AirMedCare Network!  We will return to Mt. Mike's for this meeting.

Wednesday, August 23rd
6:30pm Gather/Social Time
7:00pm Speaker Up

 Trail Work Days
On Saturday, July 22nd, a few of our members met up and cleared some of the Combie Rd Trail.  Some good soul had already done some work on the Combie trail, so the crew had time to go over to the Gerhard property and work on that neighborhood pathway.  Many thanks to those members who showed up to keep our trails accessible!

The Sugar Pine Trail is not 100% cleared.  Keep and eye open for our next trail work day.  We still have a few more trails that need some work.

Trail work days will be scheduled based on volunteer availability. If you are interested in helping with trail maintenance, please contact Chris at trailwork@MVTrails.org.  Chris will contact you to schedule a time that will work best for the participating volunteers.

ARENA
Manure
Please pick up and haul out your horse manure from the Arena and staging area.

We do not have a service to pick up the manure.  It is up to everyone using the arena to pick up their manure and haul it out. Please help keep our arena, staging area, and dog park clean!

Gate
Please make sure that the gate is closed and locked when you leave the arena.  People will illegally dump trash in the staging area, if the gate is open and no one is there.

If you see anyone dumping illegally, get their license plate number and call 911 with the information!
