TWO Referee Clinics

JHYS is sponsoring two referee clinics in June.  The first, is a Grade 8 Bridge for experienced referees on June 12th at the Jackson Town Council Chambers from 8-5pm. The following Saturday, June 18th, there will be a Grade 9 clinic for beginner refs, also at the Town Council Chambers.  Players 13 years and older AND PARENTS are encouraged to register.  If you have any questions, contact Brendan Schulte at 690-7292.  JHYS is paying for the instructor, lunch AND your first year's registration fee so take advantage of this great opportunity!  You can register for both clinics via the club's website or by clicking on these links:

Grade 9 Referee Clinic

(for Beginners)

Hosts Needed

Would you be able to host a coach during one of our summer camps? JHYS already has plans made for two summer camps and we are looking for housing for out-of-town guest club directors and college coaches.  If we can provide housing, our costs will be greatly reduced, benefitting the entire club by allowing us to keep the camp fees affordable. The first session is Tuesday-Friday, July 5th-8th, 2011, and the second session is Monday-Thursday, August 1st-4th.  If you have a guest house, guest room, or commercial lodging that you could provide to a coach, please contact the soccer office, 200-6034.

United Team

Congratulations, Teams!!

We're proud of you!

Jolene Moulder Steps Down
I have some sad news. Jolene Moulder, our Business Manager, has decided to step down. For the past 5 months she has done an outstanding job to help the club in its development. Her departure is sudden but the best decision for her family. I can't thank her enough for the great job she has done for JHYS.

Her departure means that we will begin the search for a new Business Manager immediately. The position is full-time and our goal is to hire someone to start mid-June. If you are interested or know someone who is interested, please have him or her apply. The deadline for applications is May 23.

Again, thank you Jolene for all that you have done.

All the best,

Carlos Elizondo

Director, Jackson Hole Youth Soccer

Dear JHYS Families,

It has been very hard to come to the decision to resign from JHYS.  For those of you who don't know me, I had worked as the office manager and bookkeeper at Stiegler's Austrian Restaurant for 18 years. Peter Stiegler closed his restaurant in April 2010 but surprised me this spring by asking me to come back when he reopens his restaurant in June.  While I've really enjoyed the work and the people at JHYS, I have a long history and friendship with Peter Stiegler, and I am going back to my previous position at his restaurant.  I have appreciated the warm welcome I've received from all of the JHYS family and hate to be leaving it. The people in this club are fantastic!  It has been great working for an entity that I can be proud of and support whole-heartedly.  I'll be in the soccer office through the end of May and will be helping out as I am available in June.

Auf Wiedersehen ("when we see again")
