A Super Start to the Year and Parent Communication System Test |
|
Dear Salisbury Academy Parents,
What a wonderful start to the school year! After a busy summer of preparing our school facilities for an engaging year of community and discovery, it was a true joy to see and hear the hallways and classrooms filled with happy smiles, excitement for the year ahead, and enthusiasm for learning.
Thank you, parents, for your support and for helping to make our first few days a success. We look forward to sharing more with you about this year's learning journey over the next few weeks at Back to School Nights.
Phone Tree System Test
At all times throughout the school year, our faculty and staff place great value on keeping our parents informed. This communication takes place through parent-teacher emails/phone calls, Jag Weekly, social media, and through our Parent Alert phone tree system.
In the event of a sudden schedule change such as a school delay or closing due to weather, Salisbury Academy will send out phone and text messages to our parents.
We plan to test this system on Tuesday of this week (August 28) at 5 p.m.
All parents who have a cell number entered in their contact information will receive both a voice call and a text on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
If you do not receive a call and text message, please contact our communications department at
[email protected] to have your information updated as needed.
Thank you again, parents, for your partnership and for helping make this strong start to the school year possible!
Sincerely,
Beverly Fowler, Head of School
