Third-graders work on geometrical illusion drawings in Discovery Center. Complementing middle school Discovery Labs, lower school students enjoy weekly morning visits to the Discovery Center where activities range from group engineering to robotics to artistic collaboration.

| Save the Date for Bloom Spring Gala |
Dear Salisbury Academy Parents:
On Saturday, March 18, 2017, Salisbury Academy will host our signature fundraiser gala, Bloom Industrial, at the historic North Carolina Transportation Museum. Attendees will enjoy cocktails, dinner, a live auction, and dancing.
Guests will have the opportunity to bid during the live auction on items. The after-auction festivities will continue with live music and dancing.
Bloom was designed to support Salisbury Academy and the youth of our community. A portion of the funds raised go to a scholarship program for summer youth leadership training opportunities and toward Salisbury Academy's active community service outreach initiatives.
Over the next few weeks we will share more details on how to support this event as a host, purchase tickets, help decorate, and bid on exciting items and experiences! We hope you will save the date and join us for this memorable evening.

SA Alumni Return to Campus

Salisbury Academy welcomed our alumni back to campus on Thursday night for the annual alumni basketball game. SA's current students and families had a chance to interact and catch up with our beloved Jaguar grads.
For the main event of the evening, alumni played against current students and fellow alumni in an entertaining game of basketball!

Jesse Byrd, Sports Director for the YMCA speaking on the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday and the virtue courage.
Chapel is held on Thursday mornings at 9 a.m. Families are welcome to join for this special community time!
