The SA Annual Fund: Every Gift Counts

Dear Salisbury Academy Parents:

As the temperatures cool and we begin the fall season, the Annual Fund also begins! At Salisbury Academy our greatest priority is to provide an exceptional educational experience to your children. The SA Annual Fund is a key component to the delivery of our engaging programming, dedicated faculty and staff, and the care and improvement of our school facilities. As our primary development effort, the Annual Fund is designed to keep tuition affordable while bridging the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a Salisbury Academy education.
This year's theme, "Every Gift Counts," couldn't be more fitting, as every contribution truly makes a great difference. Salisbury Academy has a history of 100% staff and board participation, and this year we would love to reach that show of support from our families as well.

Look for information in Monday folders tomorrow as well as for a campaign launch email. Thank you for your support and for making our SA community a strong one!

Kind Regards,

Beverly Fowler, Head of School

JK/K Giving Parties: Instilling a love of service
Salisbury Academy's youngest learners are already having a big impact on their community! At their first giving party of the year on Thursday of this week, JK/K classes honored the students who have birthdays this quarter by contributing canned goods for Rowan Helping Ministries that were wrapped in gift paper. Students with birthdays this quarter had the utter joy of unwrapping the canned goods while knowing that they will go to people who very much need them.

At the giving party, JK/K students also created bean soup mixes for families in need and listened to the story of a community pulling its resources together,  Stone Soup

Each quarterly giving party in the JK/K will collect items for a different cause or charity. The combination of community togetherness with service to others makes for an extra special event for the students and staff. Keep watch this year for more big contributions to the community that SA's JK/K stewards will make this year!

Middle School Matters

"Man's heart, away from nature, becomes hard; [the Lakota] knew that lack of respect for growing, living things soon led to lack of respect for humans too."
