Here is Jake Pusey's story as told by him: "I'm from the Syracuse area. I grew up right down the road from the (Syracuse Real Food) Co-op, and spent many Saturday's at Barry Park playing East Side Soccer. Meanwhile, I had no idea the Co-op even existed. I went to JD High School, and after attended St. Lawrence University. My first taste of the "Natural Food World" came during my 3 years working at City Market Onion River Co-op   in Burlington, VT.

I was surrounded by people who were passionate not only about food, but where it came from, how it was produced, and who produced it. I was hooked. If you don't see me in the Co-op, you can find me running around all corners of Green Lakes, or find me in my own kitchen.
