Our Grand Opening
and Spring Show
On the weekend of May 5 & 6 we opened the doors of our new barn to the public for the first time. At 10:00 there was a line in our new driveway, and people continued to arrive steadily throughout the weekend. In fact, contrary to history and instincts, Sunday was even stronger than Saturday. People came to buy, to look, or to do a bit of both. After a year's hibernation, our shop was filled with fresh stock, and more than one hundred pieces left with new owners. We extend heartfelt thanks to all, and especially to Warwick Carpenters' Company and Nick Potter, who all worked long hours to get our new shop and yard ready for the weekend.
For those who weren't here, we offer this short video taken in
the shop on the evening before the show. Although many of the pieces are no longer with us, the video may provide a helpful context for the three dozen pieces listed in this newsletter.
