KUNG FU PANDA 3 LIFE KI-DO PARTY - Help Life Ki-do celebrate with Po!

As we did with the first 2 Kung Fu Panda movies, we're taking over the movie theatre for a special Life Ki-do Kung Fu Panda Party on Sunday, February 7th at 10:30am at the AMC Barton Creek Square (at the mall). Tickets will be available through Life Ki-do for the special low price of only $5.19. Purchase tickets anytime, charged to your Life Ki-do account through Sunday, January 31st. Please pick up your ticket at the dojo the following week or anytime prior to Saturday, February 6th. After that date, please purchase tickets at the door through the theatre. Life Ki-do Tournaments are a wonderful complement to regular classes and gives your child an opportunity to strengthen their focus, confidence and social skills. The Focus Tournaments nurture the art of doing one's personal best with in both martial arts and life skills rather than emphasizing competition. The Samurai Tournament which is open to all Samurai students will be Saturday, January 30th from 4-6pm. We will not be doing a Power Ninja tournament until April 2016. JANUARY PARENTS NIGHT OUT - Samurai students and siblings or friends!

Our Parent's Nights Out continues to be a huge success and sell out every time. Our January night is for Samurai age students (7-11; 2nd-5th grade) and non-students alike with slightly younger siblings OK (1st grade). Here at the dojo from 5:30-8pm on Saturday, January 23rd. SAFETY ISSUE - Please don't let kids climb the fence railings!

We have noticed that a few kids love to climb the fence railings along the balcony at our dojo on the 2nd floor. Due to obvious safety reasons, we need the help of all parents in ensuring that children do not attempt to climb on the fence railings. Although the railing is to code, we reached out to the landlord who said he will look into making it less attractive for little feet to climb. Thank you for helping to ensure the safety of our kids!

LOST AND FOUND - Missing your stuff?

We have 3 wicker crates near our front door filled with lost items from classes in the past 4-6 weeks. I see water bottles, apparel and even a tennis racket! Please check here on your next visit if your child is missing any clothing or gear. We will empty out these bins on Wednesday, January 13th, so please remember to check if you are missing anything.

 

GETTING YOUR EMAILS? - Make sure to update Life Ki-do when you change your email addresses

We don't sell email addresses or use them for any purpose other than communicating directly with you about your child and things happening at Life Ki-do; class/schedule changes, belt testing and other important information. If you aren't seeing at least 2-3 per month from us, in addition to our monthly newsletter (which comes from a different server), then something is wrong. Please email Jeff at [email protected] to make sure we have your current email address on file. We can also add a 2nd email address to the account too. Most of our emails come from the email address [email protected] . It would be a great idea to add that email address to your address books to ensure they don't go to your spam folder.
