The Annual Holiday Party was Fun & Festive!

On December 8th at Council Rock High School South, guests, volunteers and staff gathered together to throw a magical evening for our very special friends.

Upon arriving, many families brought gifts of delicious desserts for everyone to enjoy. We are grateful for the hard wo rk of everyone involved and their contributions.

Inside the decorated cafeteria, we danced, ate, made crafts and enjoyed special visits from Santa Claus and Olaf from Frozen! Autism Cares Foundation enjoyed being able to host this wonderful event and we truly hope that those who attended it enjoyed it too. Please see the special Thank Yous below...

Our Glee Club Winter Concert was Fantastic!

All the practicing paid off! The Glee Club Winter Concert, led by Bill Monaghan, was filled with an excellent array of joy and talent this year.

Singing holiday favorites like "Jingle Bells", "The Hannukah Song", and "Silent Night", the Glee Club entertained over 75 guests at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Other fun highlights of the performance were a beautiful solo and note IQ contest from Lydia Comerford, who has quite an impressive ear!
The Glee Club will continue again this Spring, so stay "tuned" for registration!

We have added NEW EVENTS for 2018!

New Year, NEW EVENTS!

ACF does all that we possibly can to add new events for everyone to enjoy. This is only made possible by the generous contributions of our donors and sponsors each year.

This year, we are adding Altitude Trampoline Park and Fun Club!

Altitude Trampoline Park in Feasterville, PA is now open! The park is the CLEANEST and SAFEST in the PHILADELPHIA area and features a variety of high energy equipment such as trampolines, a foam pit, a rock climbing wall, a zip-line and much more entertainment for families, groups, and individuals.

Fun Club is back! Beginning January 24th, a new social club is forming for adults, to encourage interaction and skill development in a safe and fun environment. We are very grateful for the parents who have signed on to lead this new group and look forward to our first night of FUN!

*Space is limited for both, so be sure to register as soon as you can each time. We also encourage you to register for wait lists when needed, as cancellations do often occur.

Volunteer Of The Month- Emily Clarke

We are proud this month to celebrate the efforts of Emily Clarke, a senior at Central Bucks East, who volunteers with tremendous enthusiasm and contagious energy.

For a little more than a year, Emily has been part of the Fitlife program which is held every Thursday night. She always has a great big smile on her face, and jumps right in to help and motivate our special needs participants without any hesitation. She helps inspire and train young adults during an exercise program, that has been modified for their special needs and abilities.  By just watching Emily it is easy to see how much she loves working with our young adults and helping them feel they are special.

Next year, she is going away to college and she already told me how much she is going to miss coming to Fitlife. We humbly thank you Emily, for making a difference, and for your efforts in the lives of those with Autism and special needs.

If you would like to be a "Friend of the Foundation" check out our volunteer opportunities!
