Two Great Balls of Glory
Collectively weighing in at 617 pounds, CenterStaging has collected two hefty pieces of music history. Now proudly displayed in our lobby area are two enormous tape balls, completely made from the gaff tape that we've collected over the years. Just in case you were wondering these tape balls used about $20k worth of gaff tape!
 
In an effort of going green, we have done away with using
gaff tape forever!
With our brand new Avid Venue SC48 audio consoles and new green method of labeling road-cases, CenterStaging is not only eco friendly but even more efficient when it comes to getting the job done right the first time!

The Shows
The 17th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards ceremony aired live on VH1 Thursday, January 12th, 2012 and was hosted by Rob Huebel and Paul Scheer. CenterStaging Show technicians Jan Parent and Nick Hanson were backstage for this event making sure all the gear and staging needs for Bob Dylan as well as Fitz and the Tantrums were well taken care of.

The People's Choice Awards celebrate fan favorites in music, movies and television. It's also the only major award show where real people - not industry insiders - determine the nominees and winners, setting it apart from those other award shows. Our own Johnny Lord and Jon Singh were the techs behind the curtain for this years performers Demi Lovato and Faith Hill.
