GIVING TREE
Heartfelt thanks to all who chose ornaments, donated and sponsored our Arc Giving Trees this year. We had a significant number of requests this year and your generosity helped make the holiday special for all. We were able to provide gifts for 82 families, 164 people, in the Greater Plymouth Area. Special thanks to our community partners, Toys for Tots, Cordage Commerce Center, Water Street Cafe, Vela Juice Bar, For Goodness Cakes, Macy's Hanover and West Wood Village.

A parent responds : "I want to say "Thank You" to the Arc for helping out with Christmas.   It meant so much to me.   This year was very tough, but honestly because of the Arc, it was a great Year for my boys....  Without your help I would not have been able to provide the toys. So Thank you to the Arc for caring so much and going the extra mile for families."
The Sons of Serendip Christmas Concert
With approximately 600 people in attendance The Sons of Serendip Christmas Concert at Plymouth North High school on December 20th was a beautiful and inspirational performance.

To quote one concert-goer, "These young men are truly a phenomenon. Their gifts of music and song are way beyond just entertaining. They are soulful, humble and profoundly spiritual."

Thank you to those who bought tickets and to The Sons of Serendip for supporting The Arc of Greater Plymouth.

Keeping Kids Warm This Winter

The Arc Algonquin Food Pantry outreach program was a recipient for the second year of the United Way Grateful Giving:Keeping Kids Warm this Winter Drive. Thanks to generous donations from Target and BID Plymouth, Kim Allen of the United Way purchased 21 new coats, hats and gloves of all sizes for children who live at Algonquin. These coats coupled with some gently used kid sized jackets through the Archways Annual Coat Drive were made available to parents at the December 18th food pantry. Vibrant colors and patterns enticed children to try on and m odel before making their choices.

Our many thanks to the United Way and program supporters Target and BID Plymouth for helping to keep children and toddlers at Algonquin Heights cozy and warm this winter.

Thanksgiving and Christmas Bake Sale
For several years, The volunteer advisory committee at Archways Inc. have held a bake sale at 10 Cordage Park Circle . Items for sale are baked and donated by staff and individuals at the program and funds are raised to be used for such community giving projects as the Warm Coat Drive - where mittens and hats are purchased to be given with each gently used coat. This year's sale included many clever packaging designs  by the Arts and Crafts class of our Community Based Day Services to make items great seasonal gifts. It is always enthusiastically supported by all who visit or work at Cordage Park and we gratefully acknowledge their generosity.
