Do you work with children and youth involved in recreation, sport or cultural programming? Enhance your skills through HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD) and QUEST 2 training. These courses are being offered through a partnership between the Prairie Central District for Sport, Culture and Recreation and the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association on January 23 and 24, 2018. Upcoming Deadlines
SaskCulture is pleased to announce the
Cultural Non-Profits Lifecycles Capacity Building Program , a pilot program that will last approximately fifteen months beginning in April 2018. The Program is open to SaskCulture members. You can access the application here.  The deadline for submissions is January 15, 2018 . Four organizations will be selected to participate in the Program. The Community Engagement and Development Program Grant (CEDP) is to engage and develop projects that will enhance communities now and in the future. The deadline for projects in April, May and June of 2018 in  February 15, 2018 . Information and forms can be found here .
Sask Lotteries Community Grant Program
The Saskatchewan Lotteries Community Grant Program Application packages were mailed to communities in December 2017. Next Museum Selfie Day is Jan. 17, 2018
Museum Selfie Day is an Internet campaign that encourages people to visit museums, snap a selfie and post the pic using the hashtag #MuseumSelfieDay. Art fans, curators and museum managers are joining in the hashtag fun as well. Check out the hashtag on Twitter for some inspiration from 2017's Museum Selfie Day, follow  @MuseumSelfieDay , and get ready to participate in this year's internet event!
Save the Date - Resilience & Respect: Canada 150 & Beyond Gatherings
The Saskatoon gathering (January 26, 2018) will focus on examining how the province's cultural community can move forward together with Indigenous cultural organizations in a manner that is respectful, collaborative and meaningful.

The two-day gathering in Regina (February 1-2, 2018) will provide youth-focused programming during the day and public programming in the evening.
