Coming Soon - Chapter Council
The Foundation is launching a council of chapter officers to serve in an advisory capacity to the Foundation staff, promote communication with chapter leadership and serve as a conduit for information and communication.

Council meetings will be open to any chapter officer, but we are hoping to establish a core group of leaders that will commit to participating in the group. We expect the group to meet 3-7 times each school year, the frequency of meetings is one of the topics on our first agenda.

If you are interested in participating click here to indicate your availability. If you have thoughts or ideas you'd like to share before the first meeting please reach out to Meaghan at any time.
We are now accepting proposals for 2018 Opportunity Grants

This spring more than $22,000 will be awarded to projects that fuel experiential learning and to schools and classrooms that most need the Foundation's support.

DCSD employees may apply through February 9, 2018, 5:00 PM MST.

Opportunity Grants will be awarded in the following categories:
  • Fill the Gap: Helping educators and schools support the basic needs of their students, priority for underserved student populations and/or schools that have minimal supplemental funds beyond the district budget allocation.
  • Innovation: Supporting projects and initiatives that create game-changing learning experiences for kids. Successful proposals will introduce something new that is imaginative, original and innovative.
  • Professional Development: Supporting high-quality professional development experiences that will directly impact student learning. Any DCSD school professional who works directly with students is eligible to apply.

Review the Request for Proposals prior to submitting your online grant application. All applications must be reviewed and approved by the site principal or supervisor.
