Winter 2018 Adult Lenten Spirituality Course with Mr. Mike Longo

Jesus Christ: The Face of the Father's Mercy
Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 pm
February 6 & 20 and March 6 & 20, 2018

The title for the Adult Spirituality Lenten course is taken from the new book by Pope Francis,  The Works of Mercy. This title is a summary of the theology expressed in Pope Francis' book. God has shown mercy and unconditional love for us and all we are called to extend that mercy and love to our brothers and sisters.

This spirituality course will cover Catholic social teaching on the corporal works of mercy. As we live out these works we bring healing to ourselves and to our world. The books for the course are listed below:

The Works of Mercy by Pope Francis
The Works of Mercy: The Heart of Catholicism by James F. Keenan, S.J.
The Road to Character  by David Brooks

Cost: $50 - to register for the course, please contact Alisa Martorano
