Jerry's Sandwiches

On January 8, come to Jerry's Sandwiches for night of music, food, and theater to support our upcoming

trip to the International Performing Arts for Youth

2015 Conference in Philadelphia.

In the fall of 2012, Adventure Stage Chicago premiered

Six Stories Tall, a collection of vignettes showing youth as everyday heroes in their own worlds.  Whether battling villains, saving the underdog, or making dreams come true, these heroes saved the day not with super-powers, but with their own inner strength.

In January 2015, ASC will present one of these pieces, "I Am Not Batman," at IPAY in the hopes of securing future touring opportunities. If you came to the premiere of the show, or to its 2013 remount, you know what an energetic, empowering event it was. If you missed the show but have seen other ASC productions, you'll know how much we value young people and their contributions.

Join us at Jerry's to eat, drink, and help our funds

grow SIX STORIES TALL!

Featured entertainment:

The Nighcleaners
The Nightcleaners

are a jumpsuit-wearing trio largely inspired by the seedy, garage rock/ blues music genre of the 60's. A usual set consists of gritty versions of jazz standards, lounge tunes, and features an array of original songs and recitations. The Nightcleaners are: Brandon Campbell (sax), Henry Heine (bass), Mike Przygoda (drums).

Six Stories Tall
We'll showcase a special performance of "I Am Not Batman" before we take it on the road!

Young Hazel Young Hazel
covers artists and styles that span the last four decades.  Their sets commonly include songs by Joss Stone, Santana, Train, Maroon 5, Tina Turner, Michelle Shocked, The Hollies, Bess Rogers, Natalie Merchant, and many more.  The band delivers familiar favorites, but seeks to make the songs their own through improvisation and new  arrangements.
Young Hazel Young Hazel  performances have  been described as "high energy,  musically tight, engaging, and fun."  Band members are: Pamela Cook, lead vocals; Janet Hedrick, background vocals; Brad Sageman, guitar; Raul Amezquita, keyboards; Michael Garrett, bass; and Allen Ramsier, drums. Brandon Campbell (The Nightcleaners) will be a special guest on sax.

A percentage of all food and drink in the Music Room will go toward funding ASC's upcoming trip to IPAY. We'll also be hosting a 50/50 Raffle throughout the evening.

Doors open at 7pm.  Music starts at 8pm.

Tickets in advance (limited availability): $10

Tickets at the door: $15
