St. Rita School inspires students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade eight to achieve academic excellence in a safe, nurturing and faith-filled Catholic environment.
We prepare students to be morally responsible, innovative thinkers who, in today’s technology-guided global community, live and share the Love of Christ.
From the desk of Mrs. Tiezzi

Dear St. Rita Parents,

I would like to thank you all for the generosity you showed during the holiday season. Your contributions to the Advent Giving Tree,  faculty and staff Christmas gift,  as well as, providing baked goods and individual teacher and staff gifts was overwhelming and greatly appreciated. The St. Rita School community is very special and very generous. Thank you.

Drop-off and pick-up continue to be a challenge especially now because of snow and the narrower roads.   Yesterday, at dismissal time an 18 wheel-tractor trailer moving truck was unable to proceed up Dessa drive because cars were illegally parked on both sides of the street. This was a major safety hazard and impacts the ability of any emergency vehicle to get to their destination.  The back-up in the morning is due to parents stopping and assisting their child to exit the vehicle as opposed to simply dropping their child off and moving along. If your child is unable to exit the car quickly by him/herself along with their back-pack, musical instrument etc. please do not drive into the drop off zone. Park on the street and escort your child to the gym entrance via the stairs and walkway off of Gilles Road. Your assistance to ensure the safety of every SRS student is greatly appreciated.  Please share these safety concerns with your spouse or caregiver who may be dropping off or picking up your child. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please be advised that Mrs. Landino, one of our 2 nd grade teachers will be on a medical leave of absence until Spring. Our teachers and students at all grade levels will be praying the Rosary for Mrs. Landino’s return to good health. Should you want to send a card or message to Mrs. Landino please send it to the school office and we will forward it to her.
Thank you for entrusting your child/ren to our care. Have a great week.

God Bless,
Mrs. Tiezzi
